Global insurance and risk company, Aon, announced the sale of its African operations (excl. South Africa), to the private equity firm Capitalworks in January 2017. Therefore there was a need to re-brand Aon in Africa to re-establish and launch a new business brand that encapsulates Aon’s global experience and the African heritage of the companies Aon had originally acquired. Minet is a brand existed in Africa since 1949 and rebranded to Aon in 1997 across Africa. 


Results
• A new name – revert to heritage 1949 name – Minet and evolution of corporate identity. 
• Activation of the brand across key touchpoints and development of a comprehensive corporate identity manual. 
• Launch campaign to deliver the new brand to internal and external stakeholders as well as train staff on how to manage and grow the brand.

Responsibilities
• Ensure that all information and files are gathered at hand-over prior to the Minet Botswana brand launch campaign.
• Co-ordinate planning to ensure deadlines are met and prioritize workflow.
• Verify source files and fonts and the conversion of files for print.
• Maintain relationships with Minet Botswana stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with suppliers in Botswana and the 
Minet Botswana Creative Department
